  3. The queen conch provides nutrince to anyone who consumes them

Phylum Porifera (SPONGES)

 

  1.  Sponges secrets organic materials for other creatures to consume

  2. Sponges keep the reef alive by recycling huge amounts of organic matter to feed snails, crabs and other creatures

  3. Sponges are an important part of coral reef ecosystems, with the role in reef regeneration.

  3. Coral reefs are worth more than very important companies in our economy

Phylum Chordata (FISH - Jawless HagFish)

 

  1. Beneficial to human health for research because the hagfishes immune system might help to find a way to ward off microbial diseases.

  2. They prey on creatures that are weak and sick allowing the healthier aquatic life to thrive.

  3. Provide nutrition for the organisms that eat them
